I'll admit that while I think Jott and Remember the Milk are cool online gadgets, they don't do much for me. The issue is probably in how many things they do rather then in how few. Both have lots of fun aspects and with a little more exploring I'd probably find even more, but when I need to list something, I really just want the list - on the back of a bank envelope or a scrap of paper usually. In the past I have played around with Ta-Da Lists but even that - which is a little more basic in its service - is one of the online tools that I've left behind.
I will keep these sites in mind and will perhaps come up with a use for them in the future. But for now I think I'll stick to the scraps of paper I can stick in a pocket.

I agree...maybe I just spend too much time on the computer at work, but at home I just want my old fashioned lists stuck on the fridge to remind me to buy milk. We aren't old fashioned stick in the muds are we?? I still love youtube and perezhilton.com
I'm some weird combo of a luddite (don't own a cell phone) and a gadget lover. I think part of my disconnect comes from what you mention. At work I like all the gadgets and new things but at home I shut down.
Hi Veronica,
I, too, like my written lists - especially when going to the grocery store. I know have a PDA and have been trying to put more of my lists on there - not always successfully.
It's nice to know that these tools exist, but in the end you have to use what works best for you.
Keep on playing!

what is this irreverant talk? old-fashioned paper lists? i cannot evangelize enough about this new way of keeping track of life's little tidbits. hear me now, i am never emailing myself again! amen! (but my filofax is still uncomfortably bulging. i can barely snap it shut. almost as bad as katherine heigl's character in 27 dresses. but not quite.)
But Pinky,
That old-fashioned list making on the backs of envelopes, old mail, etc. is right on that bleding edge of recycling and other green activism! (Ducking and running-!)LOL!
